Welcome to the blog of my first app, JumpSnap! As a developer, I’m very exciting to finally be able to launch it to the App Store.

This is my first personal commercial iOS project. Since that one evening in December 2011, it has been roughly 1 and a half year of my spare time. The problem I wanted tosolve with this app is to make taking jump photos automatic and as easy as possible. The idea came through my mind when I was traveling in France, taking countless photos with my friends. (BTW, I’m in Thailand now) One day, we tried to take a jump photo of ourselves by using a regular DSLR camera timer. It turned out to be very very difficult to shoot at the right moment using the timer. Then I thought “hey, why couldn’t we just put a color detector into the camera that will trigger when I jump in the air?”. And that’s why I developed this app!
